ABOUT

Simone Cecchetti is an Italian photographer whose work has moved between music, portraiture and contemporary culture for two decades.

Throughout his career, he has photographed some of the most iconic figures in international music, including Paul McCartney, Mick Jagger, Bob Dylan, Madonna, Bruce Springsteen, Elton John, Lady Gaga, Iggy Pop, Lou Reed, Pink Floyd, Oasis, U2, ...

His photographs have been exhibited at the Rencontres d’Arles, one of the world’s most prestigious photography festivals, and his work has been represented internationally by Contour by Getty Images.

His imagery has also become part of the visual identity of some of Italy’s most celebrated artists, creating album covers and projects for Zucchero, Eros Ramazzotti, Renato Zero, Il Volo and Vinicio Capossela, as well as photographing Paolo Conte’s historic performance at Teatro alla Scala in Milan, the first pop concert ever hosted by the legendary opera house.

Today, while continuing his work in music photography, Simone brings the same instinct, discretion and visual language to a very limited number of weddings.

Not as a traditional wedding photographer, but as a photographer invited to document a story.

Icons, artists, people in love.
The subject changes. The way I look at people doesn’t.
